Gorgeous ‘Cavapoo Caddy’ Molly – my latest commission for her golf mad Dad. My commissioned pieces make a luxurious gift for special occasions and loved ones. Printed onto heavyweight 100% cotton with archival pigments inks – the artwork has exquisite depth of colour and it so tactile and luxurious. This piece includes a little birthday poem that I wrote for my customer. I love adding little touches that makes the artwork extra special.
I work with customers to add any extra special touches to make the artwork a memory that can be treasured forever, all artwork is museum archive quality.
Get in touch if you would like to discuss commissioning a piece.
I LOVED illustrating Otto the Labrador striking his ‘Gimme some knucks’ pose with his Dad, it’s getting printed onto a canvas as a birthday gift. I’m feeling really happy after receiving this awesome customer review from a customer in Texas yesterday, for a piece of my custom pet pop art. After a month of feeling a bit ‘meh’ I’m really happy to have received such lovely feedback, yay… a real pick me up and exactly what I needed!!!
Following on from those positive vibes… I’ve also uploaded a NEW print to my Etsy shop today, something I started working on last summer as part of my ‘Pooch Paradise’ collection… just a few finishing touches completed and it’s now available in my Etsy shop to buy in A4 or A3. It has me thinking of summer holidays and basking in the sunshine… oooh if only!
You can contact me here or across any of my online shops and social media with enquiries to purchase my pop art prints and custom pet portraits.
After taking a break in the Lakes over the summer holidays I’m back to it and happy to report that three more from my new Pooch Paradise collection are now available to buy online…
This very random idea for a set of doggie ‘gangsta paradise’ designs came to me in the middle of the night earlier this year and it’s great to finally get these designs finished and listed in my shops. Sometimes it’s really hard to make time for all the new ideas but it’s really satisfying when I do take time to follow through with them. I have to say though that I’m slightly concerned that at the speed I’m going it will be years before everything that I have started for this collection is finished! Too many ideas, not enough time!
So my three latest designs feature Dachshunds (also referred to as Doxies / Wieners / sausage dogs / hot dogs), King Charles Cavaliers and chocolate Labradors… with more to be uploaded next week, I can’t wait to show you!
I’m particularly fond of this one as it features my little King Oscar, who hence forth shall be called ‘Kingpin’…
This one is hubbies fave… the perfect art for a man cave!
I know this is not going to be everybody’s cup of tea but they make hubbie and I chuckle (possibly inspired by my recent addiction to Power on Neflix and my love for the classics like Scarface and Pulp Fiction). A little bit of light adult humour for the walls!
If this is the first you’ve seen of the collection, here’s a peek at the other Pooch Paradise designs…
I now have four stores online so you can shop here:
We’re feeling very chilled here at LEAPUP HQ, and so is Doug my beagle desk lamp, a custom order made by Horton & grimwood and those gorgeous crochet pots are by Pixie’s Magic Hook (both on Etsy). My beagle print is available to buy now 🌴🌴🌴
A hint of what’s to come in my new collection. A lovely gift for Basset Hound lovers and those who have a soft spot for pink flamingos and all things tropical. Watch this space for more designs from the new collection in coming days. 💕
Meet Doug my gorgeous new desk lamp by Horton & Grimwood. The perfect desk accessory for any crazy dog ladies like me (or even the perfect office assistant / office dog if you’re unlucky enough not to have real fur babies in your life). Doug the dog light was a bespoke order and painted white for me with a custom turquoise cord… look out for him appearing in my stop motion animations very soon (can’t wait)!
Doug did a good job of keeping me company while I worked on a new custom pet portrait last night, my actual fur babies deserted me and took themselves off to bed! Horton & Grimwood make bespoke pieces out of wood and their shop is well worth a visit: www.hortongrimwood.etsy.com
After what has felt like a roller coaster ride for the last couple of months on Etsy I’ve realised that all my eggs are in the one proverbial basket. It’s time to diversify so I’m REALLY excited to announce that this weekend I’m setting up a shop on Folksy.
I have a discount code running for the whole of Easter weekend… 15% off with the code FOLKSYEASTER15 plus I’m offering free UK postage as standard!
Lots of my UK based friends and family are still clueless as to what Etsy is so I’m hoping that it will be a little more user friendly for those folk. After playing with it for one night some of the differences between the two platforms has become quite clear but the main thing for me is that I love how my shop looks so much more, and thank goodness I don’t have to add all of those celebration attributes… (any Etsy sellers will understand what I’m talking about). The Folksy shop is currently looking a little bit sparse but more designs will be going on all throughout the weekend and if there are any designs that aren’t listed that you’re interested in purchasing with your voucher… just drop me a note and I can prioritise it!
The other highlight of my weekend was visiting my Etsy shop this morning to see this lovely nougat of feedback from a lovely customer in Seattle which has turned Easter Friday into Easter Friyay! It’s perfect timing and a great end to #coffeeweekUK!
Meet Sam and Paddington from Singapore… I’m really happy to have received great feedback for this pet commission that I completed a couple of months ago, that has just been given as a gift. The portrait is hand drawn from photograph and digitally coloured ❤
