I’m feeling very sad but also so proud of the England team after our defeat against Croatia yesterday. I’ve loved everything about the World Cup and will be a little bit sad after the final on Sunday 😦 … but I am happy to share that my pop art print dedicated to our waistcoat wearing national hero – Gareth Southgate – is now available to buy as a limited edition print (25 in A4 size and 25 in A3 size).
The prints are available to buy from Folksy and Etsy. The artwork is signed and numbered on the front of the print and is of the highest archival quality printed using pigment ink onto 308g Hahnemühle cotton rag paper. Each Limited Edition print includes a Certificate of Authenticity, designed to protect the security and genuineness of limited edition art works. I’m currently offering free shipping to the UK.
Get it while you can 😉
Excited to share the latest addition to my #etsy shop: Border Collie ‘pawesome’ pop art print…
This new print is available in five colours and can be personalised with your own words. Ships free to the UK 🐶 #housewarming #bordercolliegift #bordercollie https://etsy.me/2N50YYX
It’s been far too long since my last update but I’m happy to report that I am almost finished with my new pop art collection ***watch this space***. I have also just finished a new pop art portrait commission and can’t wait to share some pictures once my customer over in Texas has it hung up in her home – it’s something totally different so looking forward to sharing it with you.
Warning unless you are an England or football supporter you’re not going to be interested in this…
What I am sharing today is totally different to my usual stuff… it’s my new pop art print of our waistcoat wearing national hero, Gareth Southgate. I know he has won over the hearts of many recently but he already had mine from when I supported Boro / England and watching his intelligent, poised and professional demeanour in the World Cup has made me so proud to be English. So this new pop art print is dedicated to our waistcoat wearing national hero and his team.
I was playing Baddiel and Skinner’s ‘Three Lions’ on repeat while drawing this and I’m definitely suffering from a serious case of football fever. I still can’t get over how good all the matches have been, sooo enjoyable and such a good World Cup. I’m planning on drawing Pickford before Wednesday and if we progress further into the competition who knows, there may be more…
What is so fab is knowing that it doesn’t really matter too much what happens on Wednesday as all we really wanted was a team that were passionate about playing for their country, who worked together as a team, a team that we could be proud of and it’s a relief and a refreshing change to see that happening. I’m just keeping everything crossed that it is another passionate performance and – you never know – it could be coming home – but best not speak too soon.
PS I plan to pull together some doggie outfits so that Sophia and Oscie can show their woof and support to their team on Wednesday. 🐶🐶
My pop art football prints will be available as signed and numbered limited editions in A4 and A3, they will be available in my Etsy shop from later in the week.
I LOVED illustrating Otto the Labrador striking his ‘Gimme some knucks’ pose with his Dad, it’s getting printed onto a canvas as a birthday gift. I’m feeling really happy after receiving this awesome customer review from a customer in Texas yesterday, for a piece of my custom pet pop art. After a month of feeling a bit ‘meh’ I’m really happy to have received such lovely feedback, yay… a real pick me up and exactly what I needed!!!
Following on from those positive vibes… I’ve also uploaded a NEW print to my Etsy shop today, something I started working on last summer as part of my ‘Pooch Paradise’ collection… just a few finishing touches completed and it’s now available in my Etsy shop to buy in A4 or A3. It has me thinking of summer holidays and basking in the sunshine… oooh if only!
You can contact me here or across any of my online shops and social media with enquiries to purchase my pop art prints and custom pet portraits.
I just thought I would write a little happy New Year message to anyone who visits the blog.
I’ve had a wonderful Christmas at home, recharging batteries, over indulging and even playing with the pooches in pristine crunchy snow – hurray!
I hope you and your fur babies have had a lovely Christmas too.
Today though I’m starting to feel like it’s almost back to reality, so I have spent the day trying to get back into the idea that it’s almost time to start work again… I’ve spent a couple of hours completing the Design Trust’s mini questionnaire of how to review your your business year. As a creative and highly self critical person it’s always easy to think I haven’t done enough, or to feel frustrated that I haven’t brought many of my ideas to fruition… but today was about taking an honest and measured approach, looking at what I have achieved and where I need to focus my efforts in 2018. The questionnaire left me feeling positive about my achievements in 2017 and well prepared for the year ahead.
I plan to celebrate how far my small business has come and want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported me… stockists, customers, pooches, teachers, followers, peers/fellow creatives, family and friends. I’ve feel very lucky to have so much support – thank you so much, I couldn’t have done it without you 🙂
I’ll be back to work on the 2nd January with some gorgeous photos to share from winners of the Spring 2018 Model search and some exciting new stock to share with you.
